BadgerDave Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 The finish is in great shape. No chips, nicks or breaks.

stedge Posted January 4, 2022 Posted January 4, 2022 Personally, given his bad behavior i think he should sell it at a slight loss since the neck is clearly too wee for him. $350, anyone? P.S. Nice score.

hamerhead Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 Another nice grab, Dave. That's one of the nicest I've seen of that age.

Drew816 Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 That thing is brand new, wow! Quite the score...
BadgerDave Posted January 5, 2022 Posted January 5, 2022 I appreciate the messages and inquiries about the guitar and my intentions. I'm happy to answer any questions but I'm not planning on selling it. Some of you may know that I sold a lot of guitars last year, including all of my Hamers. Just before the Holidays I found out that my job was being eliminated (along with virtually every other person in my department over 55, 🤔). I wasn't destitute, but I had concerns about the immediate future and wanted to pay off all of my debt. I've been very fortunate to find a better job and all is well, but for the first time in over 3 decades I didn't own a single Hamer guitar. I bought my first in 1979 and I've always been most fond of the early 80's Specials and Sunbursts. This one checks that box. Probably too much detail, but I wanted to put this out there.
