santellavision Posted June 9, 2025 Posted June 9, 2025 (edited) Wowza. I guess $17k is the new Tree-fiddy. 🤪 The dude's got two. (No affiliation) https://reverb.com/item/90369283-hamer-usa-korina-standard-vector-1995-1997 Edited June 9, 2025 by santellavision 1 2 Quote

santellavision Posted June 9, 2025 Author Posted June 9, 2025 (edited) He has two different ones for sale. https://reverb.com/shop/tylers-boutique-608 Â Edited June 9, 2025 by santellavision 1 Quote
HamerCustomEr Posted June 10, 2025 Posted June 10, 2025 $17K USD is still expensive, but that includes two guitars:Â a 1995 Korina Standard AND a 1997 Korina Vector. The Standard with black pickguard is *only* $10K USD 2 Quote
Steve Haynie Posted June 10, 2025 Posted June 10, 2025 That looks like a good deal, but the $800 shipping charge kills it for me.  7 Quote
The Shark Posted June 10, 2025 Posted June 10, 2025 I'm not going there. This is too ridiculous. "How much"......nope. 5 Quote
DarkHammer Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 $8.5-10K for a guitar. How does one even come up with such price tag??? 1 Quote
tommy p Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 The prices are high, but I looked at these and several other of his 14 listings and every one looked like it was straight from the factory and unplayed. Some people really like that but you pay a premium for it. I've always preferred light to medium natural wear myself. 3 Quote

At this price it'll be sitting there for 9 years.  2 1 Quote
DarkHammer Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 here's another one supposedly owned by Aerosmith guitarist Brad Whitford, $16.5K: https://www.ebay.com/itm/376309926863?_skw=hamer&itmmeta=01JXNHG1W6K01HM9TKD5EW5VME&hash=item579dd1cbcf:g:ejcAAOSwq6VcFc9N&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAA4FkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1dJOphz7EI4tRADUI0pVmjcCnPOOkWGo292G6c7l6mTT1gdVpH0sun%2BrLeMWQ0WBFNIlryOH6f37Me4NeSajtoaHiP%2BSIkLVgu1X61YMD5wT4aEoV%2F1m5PPNkdjOY9Occ9ERoWzIctSmdNHVwoMX37a%2B8NJayZebUemaYaBNjRIW1duhwdjW9n904icEdaytkwnLHsFnZujlTJQl9nGrgfIbNDy%2BSsp6O8RvKl6GE%2FuAAh%2B1dnwA8vZbz7FkdTYNRL3i%2Fz%2FHHf8%2FfQM3%2BFXOVt7|tkp%3ABk9SR7iewLHtZQ 1 2 Quote
cmatthes Posted June 14, 2025 Posted June 14, 2025 I can confirm that is Brad's old Standard in DarkHammer's post above. Â It's still selling for more than Brad let it go for a few years back, but the current price is less than half what that guy WAS asking for it when he first listed it. Â 3 Quote

Ham Rex Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 (edited) I know I over paid for my 1995 "19" Korina Standard at the time. 8/23 I'm really glad I did. The tones from it and my mint 1999 RNK-VKC "28" are just amazing. I think I got an awesome deal on this one so the two balance out to be decent purchases. If anyone is looking at these and wonder about if they're going like them I'm pretty sure you will. Neck is a thicker "C" carve but super comfortable for me. It's not a shredder Californian neck, which I love as well, but still fast and smooth. If you hate non-scredder necks, this isn't the guitar for you. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. All the best. H R Edited June 24, 2025 by Ham Rex 3 Quote

Your description sounds similar to how I’d describe the neck on my Korina Vector, which I really like… Crazy prices aside, I’d love to add a Korina standard to my arsenal when I have a bit more time on my hands. That being said, the limited time I get to play these days means I reach for my Californian 99% of the time. Quote

alantig Posted June 24, 2025 Posted June 24, 2025 (edited) This has "So I told her 'Yes, honey, I am trying to sell the guitars, but nobody's buying them, that's why they're still here'" energy all over it. Edited June 24, 2025 by alantig 4 6 Quote
mirrorimij Posted June 27, 2025 Posted June 27, 2025 (edited)  One of a kind but part of the original limited run.  Factory Lubritrack nut and ONE piece body.  You can count the number of 1 pc body Korina Standards in Hamer’s entire existence on one hand!  Best $700 ever spent.
