So yes guys: I got my permanent residency visa for Canada a few weeks ago. So I am moving permanently to Ontario in August. I'm bringing the wife Michèle (Canadian) and the dog Ross (English) too. I hope to start my guitar repair business Fret Friend there too. Exciting

We live about 45 minutes west of London and considered a Canada move about 20 years ago, Prince Edward Island being the primary location choice.  At that point we could have sold up here, bought a huge place in Charlottetown and settled into a very comfortable early retirement at 40 years old.  I still rue the decision we took to stay here.

Awesome! I moved from Montreal to Florida three years ago, but Canada remains a great place —both cool and cold 🥶
