Tally with an odd finish

I came across this Tally that I'm dreaming of buying but the burst seems strange

does any of you can confirm this finish is original?

I agree that is an odd (fugly) finish and not one I would order, but someone might have.

Reminds me of an old Sears catalog guitar finish. Back when all the drum kits were sparkly finished. Guess I'm old.

Looks to me like somebody wanted one in Fender three-color sunburst...that was the last year that Hamer was in business before Fender shut it down, wasn't it?

i'm feeling the same way. I really don't like the finish but I want a tally so bad...and you never find one in Europe

If the price is fair, I'd buy it and be happy I got a Tally.

If the paint job makes it look more like a Gibson LP than a Fender Tele, rejoice in your opportunity to be different.

Some finishes look better in person.  Are you going to stare at the finish while playing?  Again, it might sound and play like a dream.  If that is true, then the finish is less important.

Yep, I saw that one but it's in the US and I live in Europe (Italy)... I'm trying to avoid crazy taxes and issues
