That's a great looking Vector, but I hate Kahler...and $4.8K price tag

                                            I'm pretty much a traditionalist as far as guitars go but I really like that......................and I can't remember the last time I saw the "ZULU" finish. Huge price though.

It’s a KK Model, not a regular Vector.  
 

A bit pricey, but “find another one”!! 😉

I've never owned a Kahler Tremolo. 

I'd be afraid to try and learn it.

It is a cool looking guitar.

Most on here know of my severe aversion to Kahlers. Learned my lesson with this. Deal killer right there. 

But that finish is sweet!!! Makes me long for this one back...

Tell me more about this one… Was it formerly from the Diablo stable? Looks killer!

That was an ill-fated eBay acquisition back in 2008 or 09, maybe?  Bought it because it had the reversed 6 in line head stock and H/S (which you don't see many of) and because it was orange metallic. The chrome-y, raised relief flames were likely thrown on by the former owner (Why, I don't know!) and bugged the hell out of me. It looked awful and it was going to take way too much effort and $$ to remove them.

The Kahler was also PITA. But to be fair, some of that can be attributed to the fact that I had only played a couple of Kahler cam trems and didn't have the whole set up process dialed in. That, and I just am so comfortable with the feel of a Floyd and don't get on well with the Kahler.

I ended up moving that out right quick.

That orange abortion was a formerly left handed Vector that was totally redone by somebody who had multiple meltdowns here and was banned for damned good reason.

The chrome raised flames on that vector were definitely an interesting choice, and would’ve bugged the hell out of me too.

The Zulu Blitz also had a sad backstory. I bought it from someone on here (I think) but discovered in short time, I didn't get on with it. Sold it to a gent in NY (I believe) and unfortunately, UPS delivered it with a broken head stock. If memory serves, it was sold it as a fix 'er up-er and presumably someone eventually bought it. Would have been a good project for Greg Platzer.

I will take a well installed Kahler over a Floyd any day of the week. The condition on this one seems very good. Like Chris says "find another one".

Now I’m curious…. I may be wrong, but I don’t think it was “Br…….” based on the fact I don’t remember him redoing guitars, only buying them, spending a couple of days gushing about how great they were or feigning confusion over their pedigree, and then flipping them for a nice profit.
