Our band's name is SplitStream. A reference to the male physiological phenomenon of post coital urination that often times divides into two streams. We also considered Freddy Flatulence and the Rectal Explosions, Dumpster Butt, The Dingleberries.

I was in a makeshift band at a jam session where all of us were over fifty. I introduced us as "The Swinging Hip Replacements".

used to be a college band in Colorado named "Tim Vomit and the Dry Heaves".

Also was a good blues band, "Ben Wah and the blue balls".

Had a band in high school called it "Insurrection". Yeah bad ass we thought. The actual definition is rising up against authority - hell yeah. Bad ass until someone thought it was "Inch Errection". :):D:lol:

Mary Kay and the Cosmetics

...were a Nashville bar band in the early '80s. They played the most killer cover of the Pretenders' "Tattooed Love Boys" that I've ever heard. The band broke up when they got a cease and desist from Mary Kay Cosmetics' corporate counsel. The band featured Mary Kay (her real name) on vocals and the bassist was... Max Factor.

My drummer in both bands and the guitarist/vocalist in one and who does the other half of my acoustic duo ("The Steve and Doug Trio"), just quit a band also called "The Money Shot".

I spent some time playing with a bunch of guys about 10-15 years my senior z few years back called "Aging Hormones".

One of my favorite band names from my not too distant past was "F-Bomb".

The former drummer from my current band "JellyBone" is now playing with "The Wads". For a brief time, another band I was in called themselves "Testostertones". Many years ago, I remember bands "All You Can Eat", "Bloody Rubber" and "Vic Vacuum and the Attachments".

"the screaming schidt willies".

We came up with that after drinking the water in Costa Rica.

I have a similar favorite for a Punk band--'The Raging Shits' was always one name I had

never heard used, I guess nobody wanted it... :D

Just about any comic strip name from Viz Magazine (UK) will do, too. If you've never read it, DO IT NOW! They have a website, they're known for being extraordinarily rude, crude and socially unacceptable (hey, another band name! :) ).

Cool Ray and the Polaroids - a fun St. Louis bar band from way back, Ray could really belt out Love Potion #9.

When I lived in England in the late 70s /early 80s

There was a local band called the Four Skins. I always liked that one ....

I always wanted to have a band called "The Urinals" - the first album would be called "We're not Shitters".

A mate's band, Turtle Z.

And another mate's death metal band, Foetal Juice.

Not forgetting the death metal ABBA tribute band, ABBATOIR.

Cheers, Mick.
