The Shark Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Seeing is believing. And I ain't seen nuthin'. Doubting me is stupid.Yes. I can testify to that.
bmenary Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 Nice guitar- I think Page has one of the coolest signatures- It looks like he inverts his name-
burningyen Posted December 21, 2009 Posted December 21, 2009 The 6-way toggle switches on those sound really useful. It's amazing that it's taken this long for someone to come out with such a switch, and it's even more amazing to me that it's Gibson.
BCR Greg Posted December 22, 2009 Author Posted December 22, 2009 Another pic to tide us over until it gets here....
BubbaVO Posted December 22, 2009 Posted December 22, 2009 Another pic to tide us over until it gets here.... Well now I can say I saw sumpin'....
Pieman Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Happy New Year, one and all.More photos? What is the story behind this one?I thought I once read that Page had installed a toggle beneath the pickguard on the LP he used in concert. To split the coils? Maybe I am wrong about that.

Armitage Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Nice guitar- I think Page has one of the coolest signatures- It looks like he inverts his name- With his occult interest... I always thought it was a bad attempt at the Theban Script. A lot of people get a few letters mixed up as J and I are usually (but not always) the same... and people just pick a K as an I by mistake... so his sig looks like K.P. to me. I can't be the only guy who sees this...? It's also used around the photos on the Ozzy "Speak of the Devil" live album... I haven't looked at it in 20 years but it says something about him being the "Rock and Roll madman dumping in the devils toilet" and that he misses Randy so much etc... Actually, Ozzy used (or his art department used) a number of scripts on his early albums including the old Celestial script...
Steve Haynie Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 No one?You just blew my mind. You, sir, are correct! That is KP in Theban Script! Years ago I figured out the message on Ozzy's Speak Of The Devil album the same way I would do the Cryptoquote in the newspaper. It said something about a dedication to Randy Rhodes.
edgar_allan_poe Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 I think this guitar is pretty much overvalued... cool.gifI agree. I am going to call Greg today and offer him what i think it is worth.
