I'm really upset at the moment and need your help.

Never thought I would ever have to deal with something like this. But Sunday (07/18/2010) a climate controlled facility was broken into (21 units total) and I had some very expensive and sentimental gear stolen. I'm passing this along to everybody I know in the hopes that it may help. Please pass it along to anybody who can help.

This happened in Walker, Louisiana. Near Baton Rouge/Denham Springs area and Hammond, Louisiana. Please keep your eyes and ears open.

I'm sure I don't have to say which of these guitars is the most important to me.

I'm in Baton Rouge, and I know every music shop owner in and around here. I'll forward a link to this thread to them and have them on the lookout.

Have you contacted Jody at Jody's Music Shop in Walker? If not, let me know and I'll call him for you.

My bass player in TTL manages one of two music shops in Hammond, and he knows the other store's manager well. I'm forwarding a link to this thread to him right now, and I'll share more details when I see him at rehearsal tonight.

And my hobby is scouring the pawn shops and craigslist around here for deals, so I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Chin up, bro, we'll do everything we can to find them.

Ditto.

It's better than good to have Jeff "The Bloodhound" Reeshard on the case.

Thanks so much Jeff. It was a grab and run kind of break in. They broke into 21 storage units there. They hit the jackpot with mine. I've been forwarding this to everybody I know in the music scene and store. But I'd rather over lap and send it to all of them many times than to miss the one store that got my stuff.

I just got off the phone with my boy, Dave, the assistant manager at the BR Guitar Center. I'm e-mailing him a link to the thread now so he'll have pics and descriptions. He's on the lookout and he's a good guy -- he comes to all the TTL shows

Bobby in Hammond is my next call.

I know, dumb question, but did you file a police report with the Walker Police Department?

Hey, e-mail me at natchbureau AT hotmail DOT com as soon as possible and give me a name and phone number that I can forward on to all my buddies.

Horrible to have happen to you. Keeping my fingers crossed for everything's safe return.

At least it sounds like a local job. Let's just hope these yahoos aren't too bright.

Best of luck on the safe return of your goods...

Hope you get your gear back. Wishing you the best of luck.

Please tell me you were insured...dear lord that is awful. I sincerely hope you get your LP JR back at the very least. I had this happen to me last year and I was fortunate enough to get everything back. I know the feeling, and it isn't fun or cool.

Mike is a good guy.... and I knew Jeff would have the pulse on the area....

Sending positive vibes to a safe recovery of your gear Mike!

When I read the original post and saw where this happened, I had a premonition that through the help of the LA crew, you'd see some of your stuff again.

I've got a good feeling about this.

Best of luck and wishes. Theft sucks!

GOOD LUCK! It pisses me off to see stuff like this happen. Do you have lists of serial numbers?

Hopefully they weren't "pros", as people with brains might be smart enough to move them a few states away before trying to offload them.

Hope Dad's Jr. returns soon and all the others too.

JeffR is ON IT!!!
