I'm getting a contact buzz just from looking at them.

The whole "they're a nerd band" thing in the new documentary was news to me. I always thought of them as a stoner band.

Nice pics. I saw them the year before in a theater in Washington DC. In '78 they sold out the Cap Center, which was about 20,000 seats. The next year, they sold it out for 2 nights.

Wow, thanks for posting!

Xan - a - duuuuuuuuuuuuu....

Bingo!

I've been corrected that based on their dress and haircuts, this was the permanent waves tour.

kickass!!!

rush is both a nerd band and a stoner band.

and, many nerds are stoners, too.

Love that first pic with the dueling doublenecks! I'll be checking them out in Tampa 10/2.

They're fantastic on this tour.

Where are the washing machines and rotisserie ovens?

Or, were they dryers? Either way...

Geddy had dryers on one tour and rotisserie ovens on another.

Alec and Geddy have time machines on this tour. :-)

This are from either 1981 or 1986. I honestly don't remember.

Fan since '75. I saw that tour in Madison, Wn. in April '81 DavidE. Seen them every year '77-'86 and missed/seen a few tours since then.

Trying to get to the Tampa show but no ticket yet and work keeping me busy until 8pm unless I can find relief for a few hours that day. I NEED a RUSH show to wakeup a few braincells with some thinking man's music.:lol:

I'll throw this one in for fun.

It is Neil's kit from All The World's a Stage.

I saw it in a drum repair shop out in Brooklyn last year. Not sure who owns it now, but I heard it had been a prize in a drum competition after the tour.
