Probably. The list is short...

- MusicYo Electar 30 watt hybrid. It's on (permanent) loan to a friend.

- Yamaha solid state 50 watter "GS" something or other. I got it for $20 off craigslist. It was pretty nifty, with a parametric EQ that would let you make incredible changes in sound... but the thing was moldy, and when you ran it more than five minutes you had to get out of the room. Threw it away.

- Digitech GNX 3000 stompbox/modeler/midi controller/mixer... serving duty under the bed for the moment. Most often used as a tuner and drum machine (fancy metronome)

- Peavey Valveking 100 head. It's exceedingly versatile and able to play at bedroom levels, which is where I play 99.9% of the time.

- Jet City 18 watt head for Christmas this past year. It had good life an tones, but not at bedroom levels. Sent it back.

That's it.

I go back and forth between an open-backed Avatar 2x12 with a mixed pair of Celestions (Vintage 30 and G12M) and a closed cab 2x12 Jet City that came with the afore-mentioned Jet City amp.

That's all folks!

I would not be able to do it. I look at other's lists, and think.. "oh yeah, I had one of those"

And there's no one amp I've gotten rid of that I really regret..... maybe that Plexi Major... yep, I really owned one.

soon to arrive : Carr Slant V with Redplate Dumble ODS channel

Woof! Need a tone report when you get that one, please. :D

I've just had couple of evenings with this thing so my tone report is limited, but I wanted to give the report as promised before I forgot.

I'm impressed. The clean Carr Slant channel is everything you would expect from a good Fender, lush and sweet with some range,,, it can be thinner or it can be thick with a twist of a couple of dials. The mid knob is supposed to take if from blackface (less than 11:00) to tweed (more than 11:00) though it sounds more blackface to me, overall. The reverb goes deep into surf territory if wanted. Where I've spent most of my time has been on the Redplate ODS side and, again, lots of range here. The drive knob immediately fattens up the tone and dialing in Santana's Samba Pa Ti was effortless. Also noticeable with the Redplate channel was how well it maintained the character of the OD even when turning the volume level knob way down. I haven't played with the half-power cathode and half-power fixed switches much but it seems like they would be of the most use on the clean side since the level knob on the Redplate ODS channel takes care of any volume desires quite well. This thing may take a while to figure out completely with all the tone/power options but it's definitely a winner :D The only complaint so far would be the passive FX loop, you would think a pricey amp like this would have a buffered loop but that's a minor complaint for me and fixable with a 3rd party product. The loop does have a bypass switch which is a definite plus.

Very nice. Are the channels foot-switchable? I played a different Carr model a few years back that was not.

Overall, good score.
