Oh, you can just hear the sales pitch back in the day....... Ground wire was really never really soldered on... Now this is kinda cool and have not seen in a very long time, DiMarzio creme rings with screw post guides. Eh, Really Kahlered The fretboard and neck are excellent. Beautiful. and original nut, selection of music in the shop felt appropriate A little dribble.... Cleaned up the back cavity and made a dowel for the moved switch hole. That sat a few days to cure, started to take the finish off the top... massive flame with the original sunbursted finish... here is one of the main reasons why it was resprayed black, all the top is cleaned off, I hit it with some naptha to show an increadible top... pictures do not do it justice, but you get the idea... I was able to remove ALL the laquer with out harming the binding... you should see the kitchen when I cook.... first coats of laq to seal the top, wet dry till flat, then shoot the black. Top is sealed. Shot the black, scraped the binding, shot the clear coats.

My favorite strap lock. I have some that are at least 30 years old. the best in my book.An update, tone report. The B&C tuxedo sunburst is a brite muthacompared to my other '79 which is big phat juicy lucy.It will tear your head off. very tele / p90 wannabe. it rocks.
