Had to check out ‘Bad Little Doggie’ when I saw this post... Awesome live sound and mix! Can’t believe they didn’t include ‘Life Before Insanity’ though, one of my fav Mule tunes. I have to buy this one tho Edited March 23, 2018 by DaveH 1 Quote

I remember the first time I heard “People Who Died” —Vin Scelsa spun it around midnight on WNEW. I ran out to Sam Goody’s in the morning to go buy it! Herbie pushed Tony from the Boys' Club roof Tony thought that his rage was just some goof But Herbie sure gave Tony some bitchen proof "Hey, " Herbie said, "Tony, can you fly?" But Tony couldn't fly, Tony died! Jim Carroll is probably best known as the author of "The Basketball Diaries." 1 Quote
gorch Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 I‘m into Ultravox again and bought some extended 2 CD sets of Lament, Quartet, and Rage in Eden. 2nd CDs have various mixes and live recordings of the 80s on them. Actually, the remixes don‘t sound better than the old records. 1 Quote

The Annette/Beach Boys video of the title song kicked off the movie, and that's primarily why I went to see the movie. Rock music videos were rare, and there were no VCRs yet. If you missed the theatrical release you might not get a chance to see it for years. Edited April 1, 2018 by JohnnyB 1 Quote

That FenderTones' version is fabulous! I was listening to it though Sennheiser HD580 headphones. The tempo is a little faster than the original, but in a good way. It's more energetic without sounding rushed. The bassist extracts a deep growling tone and plays propulsive bass lines that move the song along. The vocal harmonies are big and lush. The drummer pretty much plays Dennis Wilson's original beats, which is a great place to stay. Lead singer's voice has an attractive charisma. Hats off all around! 2 Quote
