Those knobs look horrid.  Seriously.  They look horrid as in they allow you to turn up different levels of foreboding horror and doom.

Yep. They release the evil .... :)

An amazing, amazing guitar! Congrats all around.

Now bring it over to lots and lots of stages in the USA (and pick up a nice Shiskov shirt while you're here) :)

Is that MOP inlay on the TRC?

HELL uses Shishkov guitars and Pearl drums because they want the best.

Absolutely Amazing!

Kev, Could you give us some insight to the inlays?  What they mean....Where they're from.

Wow.... Just wow oh wowie wowza woof woof wow!

So I gather you're pleased?

Well, you should be!  You went to the A team and you got the A-grade best.  Enjoy it loudly and spread the awesomeness far and wide!

Kevin's guitar needs to be in the dictionary under "bad-ass!"

I'm curious as to whether they can make an "angelic" version; kind of the opposite of DarkhAngel--perhaps Archangel?

Awesome in every way.  Every Shishkov has its own class.  Man am I excited for the day I finally get my custom order in my hands.

Went back to watch the pics. It's so much of bounds. There are no words to describe...

Yes - it's a MOP inlay on a piece of ebony wood - this was the unseen 'surprise' Mike had promised me. I'd ordered and supplied him with a regular engraved 3-ply plastic one, but he went the extra mile and made this. It's the crowning glory of a world of tiny details, and so typical of the man's dedication to his art.

The main inlays are actually my name, written in Enochian script - it's an ancient symbol alphabet favoured by alchemists, sorcerers and so on. We first used it on the 'Curse & Chapter' album booklet head shots as per the attached pic. I sent Mike the TrueType font file by email, so he could experiment, printing the characters in various sizes to gauge how they'd look on the fretboard. He told me that he'd finally ended up matching the sizes to around the same size as regular crowns. The '666' logo at the 12th fret is the band's symbol - a bunch of the band's fans (quite disturbingly) have this thing tattooed on themselves - but anyhow, our merch company produce this symbol as a cool pewter necklace for fan-girls - and it's actually a pair of these which Mike has skilfully adapted into the volume knobs. The 'Baphomet' tailpiece I found on a little market stall in France. The whole thing has been so beautifully done.

May I say that you look really scary in that picture? B)

Kevin's explanations of the individual little details makes the guitar that much cooler. It's like the HFC members are in on the secrets.

So I guess you've played Darkhangel on it already. :)

Let us know when you've laid down something with it that we can listen to! Sharing is a good thing.
