serial Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 1981/2 Koa/maple stringer/mahogany BC Rich Mockingbird. Refinished in stunning purple pearl metallic by Shannon Huss at HEL Guitars (who does stellar work for several HFCers). Pickups are NOS old Bill Lawrence XL/L-500s, otherwise all original full electronics package. NOS backplate sourced from Neal Moser (the original was cracked). Came to me with Schallers on it, but I reinstalled old Grover Imperials. With case. $1850 obo. Prefer to ship in Lower 48 because of shipping costs that have gotten insane. pm me here or email to: serialsteve79AThotmailDOTcom

Montelovesco Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Help! A guitar left a shadow on my retina.... GREAT!
Jeff R Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Steve, I sent a link to a good friend in Hollywood who doubles as a collector of all things purple, pink and pointy. He's the owner of my old Craft House pink/purple/champagne/black ESP Kamikaze if that give you an idea haha. I only sent him a link because I don't have the extra $$$ around with my current stable of shop restos. Man, that is simply the perfect Mock in my opinion.
carfish7 Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Wow. That would be the PERFECT guitar to play at this year's Viking's Suiper Bowl Championship party!!! Stunning.
Jakeboy Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 Late 70s Aerosmith, anyone????? That thing is badass...but you already know that. GLWTS.

cmatthes Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 I'm almost thinking that I should SLASH the price on something of mine to move it quickly, as that thing would be perfect for my appetite right about now. I've seen and played this one. It's badassedballsariffic.
Biz Prof Posted October 21, 2016 Posted October 21, 2016 That guitar reminds me of this car...relatively simple, perfectly styled, blisteringly powerful, long in the hustle and short in the bustle.

Bennyboy-UK Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 I have another suggestion but it might result in a bloodbath I can't win at the moment

Jakeboy Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 Yup, that is exactly the pic I had in mind, Carfish! That guitar (and Brad's too) is all over Draw The Line, most notably on Milk Cow Blues.
