First I was surprised they said YES, and second, it was a pretty reasonable quote Factory approval: Check. Reasonable quote: Check. Down payment..?

No, we ended up with some family stuff and I pissed away my savings on travel expenses. Dave was great to work with, I would have loved to support his shop
Ting Ho Dung Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 Maybe it's my eyes but wasn't this a BIN yesterday? 1,999 BIN?

serial Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 All Hamers that were legitimately produced in New Hartford had serial numbers.
HAMERMAN Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 There is a picture with a stamped serial number. It looks like it is also stamped USA under the serial number - is that normal?

Kind of strange they stamped it up the middle like that. This is the one I looked at expecting to see it at the top of the headstock. From this angle you can't see the #s in the middle. 49 minutes ago, serial said: All Hamers that were legitimately produced in New Hartford had serial numbers. Are you saying this one isn't legitimate? Modded? Fake?

it's me HHB Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Wow! If it was a Monaco Monaco 7 I would have to sell shit but still that is waaay cool. Hate the control layout
Ting Ho Dung Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 I'm really interested in getting this guitar. I'll have to sell something.
mc2 Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 6 hours ago, serial said: All Hamers that were legitimately produced in New Hartford had serial numbers. I asked the seller about the SN# and he said he would post a better shot of it. I would think the SN# runs up the center, like many Hamer Basses, because the extra tuner takes up space at the top where most Monaco SNs sit. Hamer made some of the earliest 7-strings back in 1987 with the Maestro model.
cmatthes Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 Vectors and a few other guitars were stamped with the serials that way.
kizanski Posted January 25, 2017 Posted January 25, 2017 What does, "The whole guitar is made slightly Larger then a 6 string," mean??

Northfield Posted January 26, 2017 Posted January 26, 2017 It's 1 of 2 made in 2005 for the band Crossfade. if I had the extra cash sitting around, I'd grab it.
ARM OF HAMER Posted January 26, 2017 Author Posted January 26, 2017 So Ed Sloan was the owner?.............cool guitar.....................lot of "Grungers" used the 7 string with great results...................me being a jazzer I would be playing some of this.I would not mind having it but then I also would have to sell something.
