cmatthes Posted November 20, 2025 Posted November 20, 2025 Still one of my favorites - super light Korina body blank and RF neck from the early 2000s Gene Baker bankruptcy auction, a killer flame maple billet I had lying around for years, and a NOS 1980 DiMarzio PAF ran through Murkat and Stike to create the Baker Frankenjunior...or whatever you want to call it. 23 Quote

currypowder Posted November 21, 2025 Posted November 21, 2025 Bizen is a Japanese boutique brand started by the guy who ran the Zemaitis Custom Shop. Their LP type guitars have fat, soft V necks that are to die for. Top shelf woods and components. This Korina Jr. also sports a Brazilian RW fretboard. 7 Quote

Amplodyte Posted November 24, 2025 Posted November 24, 2025 Did Hamer make any single bridge pickup versions of the 1977-1980 Special guitars? Would that still be a "Jr" or does it need to be a single coil to complement the stripped down ethos of the guitar? Were there any single pickup versions of the 1993 era P90 Specials before the BCR runs? Quote
