Well, Shawn, I hope the ONE guitar you bought/will buy this year turns out to be worthy.

I believe it arrives today, doesn't it?

Yeah, does that count, or was it technically purchased past year?

All I know is, every time I consider selling mine, I play it, and then I don't feel like selling it anymore.

Nope... That's this year's purchase.

...I'll take it...

As for yours... I'll get it from you soon I predict.

Keep telling yourself that and maybe it'll come true!

Come on... We both know how this will end up.

Deal was not final until 1/1/2012 so it counts. Yes, I do believe it drops in today and I can't wait! I needed a long scale and I have a new trem on hold for it.

This challenge is more about maintaining the love for the one's you already have, and no one hates more guitars than Feynman

But I own my Grail Guitar.... That kinda gas passed already. Everything else is iceing on the cake. 14 weeks ago I gave up cake.... ;) Lost 23lbs and 2 pant sizes since the Hamer Jam in October. :)

Wow!

That wasn't too long ago!

You must have been eating a shitload of cake!

You can't win if you are A) betting against the house B) betting with professionals or C) predicting rational behavior from lunatics.

Mitch as long as CMatthes does't sell his Mahogany Vector, its going to be a long year..... I don't suspect an early demize but you should start a Timer.

Remember fella's in the event that the World Ends short of the Jan1 2013 we must call that a draw.

Yes, I forgot about our 12/21/2012 demise effecting this bet!

It is easier to sit on a guitar than to resist the temptation of the next Holy Grail.

This will be Shawn's demise. Grail or not, you're doomed, buddy.

If this was between Feynman moving his latest acquisition before Brentrocks sells something, I wouldn't touch it.

But I stand behind anyone trying to hold out longer than either of the above two things happening.

If Bubs accepts, he wins this hands down.

LMAO

...As long as the Strat is not defective or something when it arrives, the wager is official.

I suspect some lawyering here. Does it depend on what the meaning of the word "is" is?

Well, there's a new sig block...

Beat me to it!

Since I haven't subjected myself to your mockery and derision lately, I'd like to state for the record that last night I decided that this is my favorite Strat that I've owned. It may be the perfect Stratocaster for me. It resonates like no other, has comfortable deep contours, and coughs up 6.8 lbs of vintage Strat tone all night long...

That copy should look GREAT in the For Sale ad!
