cynic Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 The Ultimate page on Mike's website calls it "Antique Natural". Which none of us does. It also says "Other options / configurations available upon request" It could be the cameras, my monitor, the grain patterns, or any number of the above, but to my eye 0004/0009 look natural while 0014/0018 look "antique" natural.

Who am I to say differently?
Northfield Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 They are all VN. Guess I should correct the website.
velorush Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 So wait. Mine's Natural but the other "Naturals" are Vintage Natural? Nuh-uh! I was pretty clear at the onset about entries in the Registry: That's what I've been able to glean so far out of the 'celebration' posts. Let me know if: 1. your number isn't listed or if you're not listed next to your number 2. I mis-capitalized / mis-spelled your screen name 3. I've got something else wrong 4. all of the above Always glad to make corrections / changes / deletions / rephrases / etc. ETA: I think I understand what happened: yours was the first natural example we had, so I listed it as natural. By the time Kiz' came around, we'd moved down the registry and when he described his as "Vintage Natural," I gave no thought to making the entries consistent. I'll change the entry.

velorush Posted October 1, 2015 Author Posted October 1, 2015 I'm just funnin'.Oh, I know, but I do want this to be accurate and to everyone's satisfaction. Some day it would be great if this were (in some form) combined with photos of each to comprise an Ultimate section of the Shishkov Guitars web site.
The Shark Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 They are all VN. Guess I should correct the website.Only one Vintage Natural matters to me...
Steve Haynie Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 So wait. Mine's Natural but the other "Naturals" are Vintage Natural? Nuh-uh!The official finish name of yours is 'Naturally Awesome'."Naturally Awesome" would be a good finish name to use for real.

BTMN Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I hope I had a lil something to do with his choice in color but given I do not know whom it is, I will have no way of knowing, unless he posts up on it. May be just cowinkiedink it is one number before mine but then doing both Trans Reds together makes total sense. Wish there was a side by side of them.

velorush Posted May 26, 2016 Author Posted May 26, 2016 Ladies and Gentlemen, only four left to go and I have word one of those (0046) is complete, just not received. This is very exciting! 00390045 The Shark0046 albacore [Nottinghamshire, UK] Quilted Berryburst, crowns, bound rosewood fretboard0047 PTM1Diver [MD, USA] Anyone that would like anything changed on their particular listing, shoot me a PM and I'll get it changed. Also, if you'd like your location (States in the US, Counties, States, Provinces, elsewhere), let me know. If any of these popped up on Facebook and anyone has details, throw me a bone as I pulled my plug on the Matrix years ago.

Serials appear in red until delivered. With 0045 our for delivery, today, the Registry is nearly complete! Was anything posted about 0039 on Facebook? Not looking to betray anyone's confidence, but a general description surely would be appropriate.
