FYI - Cafe Press (if they're still in business) SUCKS at shirts. Some of their stuff isn't so bad, but their shirts are really cheap crap with bad ink.

Those print on demand shirts feel a little sticky and rubbery.  They also do not last as long as shirt done by a screen printer.  With the quantity that looks like is going to be sold, a local shop can definitely do a good deal.

We want the Hamer of printing jobs.  Print on demand is more like the "Slammer by Hamer" of shirt printing.

I'm in for 2 mediums. One of each color if that's doable. And many thanks for putting this together.

With really good options like CustomInk, there is ZERO reason to use CafePress.

That is NOT a Cafe Press shirt.   That is a run that I did with a local screen printer and the full color screens alone cost me almost $600.

$600‽ so that guy lost $500 on that shirt?

You could say he lost his shirt on that shirt!

I'll pay for my own shirts

Um....No.  This is a huge undertaking that I'm sure we all appreciate. You should at least get something for your efforts.  Rugby, please add your shirts to my order. 😉

Trust me.  I speak from experience that it is really easy to LOSE money on this kind of venture.

I feel like I could use some hair of the dog this morning, but your pic doesn't seem to be helping

I feel about Mensa like Groucho Marx supposedly felt about the Friars club: I don't want to belong to any organization that would have me as a member.

I'll take 2.  Whatever colors help make the order.

I'll 2nd the following - 2XL Tall, if possible. I hate it when T’s shrink lengthwise (and well, you don’t want to see my belly button).

Rugby, thanks for this.

btw,  Do any of your truss rod covers say "Elegant Violence" ??

sledhead44, thank you for the very generous offer but I will have to respectfully decline. I just wasn't raised that way, gotta pay your own freight.

No problem.  Just thought I'd offer.  Thanks again for doing this!

Update on the shirts. We're up to 134 shirts in the US order, more if the Europe deal pans out. The artwork will be completed soon and when it is I'll post it here as well. I've shopped local printers and have the information below.

The shirts will be screen printed. The shirts are 100% cotton and might be available in tall and women's sizes. Due to the material being 100% cotton the printer suggested ordering one size larger due to shrinkage. Here's the link to the shirt manufacturer: https://catalog.companycasuals.com/p/1634_Lime?text=pc61

The projected cost of the shirts will be approximately $10 each plus shipping to each of you. Since I'm using a local vendor there's no shipping to me, only local pickup. There's an up-charge for the larger sizes but it should all workout about the same.

You're probably asking yourselves why I am doing this. Answer: I WANT A HAMER TSHIRT, pure and simple. Let me reinforce my mantra, I WILL NOT PROFIT MONETARILY FROM THIS VENTURE, I WILL ALSO NOT LOSE ANY MONEY AND I WILL PAY FOR MY OWN SHIRTS. ANY AND ALL MONIES LEFT OVER WHEN ALL IS SAID AND DONE WILL BE DONATED TO THIS MESSAGE BOARD TO SUPPORT THE ON-GOING OPERATION OF THIS SITE. I'm not yelling I just want everyone to understand what's going on here. Anyone at any time can get a copy of the spreadsheets for this venture; it's 100% transparent.

I've pasted a partial copy of the current spreadsheet here, hopefully everyone can view it. Please check your order very carefully and advise me via PM of any discrepancies.

Thanks,

Dave
