Nice looking guitar, but in my opinion, 12-strings on a 1-5'8" nut width neck is unnecessarily tight.

1-11/16”, actually. I can’t play 12vers under 1-3/4” myself, so I backed off doing a trade for this Proto 12.

Interesting.  I measured my Phantom 12 at 1-5/8", and I was interested in a Proto 12 that the seller measured at 1-5/8", and so I declined.

Maybe I didn’t read the copy correctly. Could a sworn it said 1-11/16”. I’m probably wrong.

Sellers say a lot of things that are not accurate.  When I bought the Phantom 12, the seller claimed that the nut width was a hair under 1-3/4", which is my bare minimum for 12-stringers as well, but when I received the guitar, the nut width measured only 1-5/8".  I sent him a picture to prove this to him, and he told me that I was holding the tape measure wrong.  (I was not!). By the way, I had someone else confirm this with an independent measurement.

Wow, that Red 12 string with matching headstock was only going for $1499?  I hope something was wrong with it. That's great deal.
