For the 12 string version, it is. The six standard strings are through the body and the octave  strings are through holes in the bridge. This setup is heads above any other electric 12 I’ve tried. You can adjust intonation for all 12 strings. I love mine, it is incredibly stable. 

A standard 6-string eclipse generally has a wraparound.

I loved mine!  I had a black one that my kids/wife bought me for Father’s Day one year when a local Hamer dealer blew out his inventory.  It was black, but I later swapped it even up for a flip-flop blue/green one.  I only traded that away years later to get my Newport 12.

I bought a blue/green flip flop one last year just to have a good 12 string. I've been playing it quite a bit lately as I've been diving deep into the Long Ryders catalog. Sid uses a Ric 12 quite a bit. 

The Eclipse through a compressor nails the tone and is much easier to play than the Rics I've tried. Even my girlfriend commented on how good it sounds.

Had the chance to buy an E12 years ago in Cherry Red for a good price. I have enough problems with 6 strings... 😉

Here's a pic of mine in action, as played by Sir Dan.  This photo was taken two weeks ago at my friend Jeff's 60th birthday party at the Driftwood Char Bar in Minneapolis.  This is the most recent incarnation of the 4321 All-Stars with, from left to right, myself on baritone tele (it's a BadgerDave build, and my current favorite guitar), brother Scott on bass, Dave Dayton on drums, Dan on 12-string Eclipse and Z in the background on guitar.  We've decided that the baritone and 12-string combination shall be our signature sound.

I'm thinking the Driftwood Char Bar may be the location of my 70th birthday party, which is a scant 2 years away.  Yikes!

FWIW, there were a few more 12vers out there. Here is an old picture from before downsizing. I still have the Newport and the Duo-Tone. Was there not also a 12 string Prototype?

(Please don't ask, neither is for sale).

There was also a 12-string Phantom;  very nice guitar except for the 1-5/8" wide nut.

Unless my memory is failing me, that is a Chaparral. Sort of an odd bird in the sense of a 12 string shredder.
