Nuclear Wessel Posted December 4, 2012 Posted December 4, 2012 OMG!! Too much good stuff here! I don't have time to look at all the photos in one sitting. I'll share a couple of mine.
Hamerica Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 It is always great to see the different concubines are in ones Hamer Harem. Hamerica
Tres Aardvarks Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 I LOVE that oddball!!!! DuoTones.....And one "oddball".... Peter, what's the rest of the bass with the skull n crossbones look like?
gregc Posted December 7, 2012 Posted December 7, 2012 Not big enough to be a Harem.....Yet. Left: 1981 #0531 Right: 2010 #9-56389 1978: After seeing Cheap Trick at the Calderone Music Hall in Long Island NY. I wanted a Hamer Standard Bass in a 12 string version. 1981: Financially, I just couldn't afford the 12, so I had Hamer make a Standard 4-string bass, and not trusting UPS, ordered it with a Calzone flight case. 2008: After 30 years of wanting one, I finally ordered one from Greg @ BCR. 2010: In January, a Hamer Standard 12. Damn, I remember the Calderone and seeing Cheap Trick there! I betcha it was the same show*
HSB0531 Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Hey Greg:Probably did.I think they only played 1 night. The opening act was Twisted Sister.
belikerick Posted December 14, 2012 Posted December 14, 2012 Wow, inspiring thread! I don't have a picture of my Hamers together so ... even though I can't match any of these harems, I'm gonna put mine up (+ the Tipton cause it's just too cool ), please excuse the cell quality picture

Bobby Marshall Posted December 15, 2012 Author Posted December 15, 2012 MC2- what a varied collection, outstanding!!!! You have one I missed out on, the test pattern teenage radiation blitz. And those basses WOW!
carfish7 Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 wanna sell that reverse headstock natural chappy?I was wondering where that went! Glad someone here scored it. GREAT collection there.
humfree Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 That selection of basses is an incredible overview - could be a catalog cover for their custom shop ideas.. how anyone owning such a company could look at that pic alone and not be inspired to get behind it is beyond my ability to reason.Phenomenal
mc2 Posted December 15, 2012 Posted December 15, 2012 wanna sell that reverse headstock natural chappy?Nah....Took me ages to find a set-neck Hamer with a Sustainiac.Cool y'all like the pics. I have a leaning toward the odder axes.

anotherfreak Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Here's the hollow ones, some might appreciate 'em
diablo175 Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 I have just been so out-Whataburgered. I take it you're from down South? Whataburger, AFAIK, is NOT a burger chain you'd find up here in the Great Northeast. That being said, for whatever reason, whenever I go to Texas, I GOTTA have a Whataburger. It is a tradition. Love their burgers.
