scottcald Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Brent, Yes, why how on earth did you ever divine that obscure little detail?!? Those . . . . . along with a couple of other cool options to be revealed at the appropriate time. Is it going to shoot pyro off the headstock?
Boomerang~Junkie Posted January 6, 2016 Author Posted January 6, 2016 I received another drool-worthy update photo from Mike. I swear the guy must secretly be a robot, his work is so precise. The neck and crowns are insane. OK, for you "Columbo" types, focusing your attention on the neck reveals a big clue one of the minor options Mike graciously agreed to do for me.
cmatthes Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Well, duh...frets OVER binding? Seriously, that one is going to S-M-O-K-E. Can't wait to see the color on there...
django49 Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Frets over......One of the things I like re the work of Nik Huber and some others......Great touch and attention to detail, Mike!
Boomerang~Junkie Posted January 6, 2016 Author Posted January 6, 2016 Dang you were all over that one. Yep, I am not keen on the way the nubs on neck binding feel. So, that's one option down. I'll reveal more as I get more photos from Mike . . . .
kizanski Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Well, duh...frets OVER binding? The way it's supposed to be done!
atquinn Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 OK, for you "Columbo" types, focusing your attention on the neck reveals a big clue one of the minor options Mike graciously agreed to do for me. All I can see is that he left out the first fret inlay - Austin

All I can see is that he left out the first fret inlay - Austin Just get an inlay on every fret. Except the frets that normally get them!
