Blue Guitars Are It!

There are periodically bursts of interest in "blue" guitars. So, while I have some pictures nearby, someone might get a kick. Okay, so one is much more green, except for the edges, but I think it is close enough.....The flash really emphasizes the green in the green/blue.

Just to be clear, this is NOT a for sale thread......And one of them is already safely in the hands of another member here already.....

BTW, on that second one, the BACK of the guitar is as nice as the front, made from the same wood.

Since my "Number One" is a blue guitar, I am a firm believer that they DO sound better. But what do I know?

My wife told me this week "You have a problem" and I replied "You admitting that I have a problem is the first step in long road". ;)

I know this is weak compared to some previously posted but I have to downsize so needed to get a picture before something goes. Love my Korean Hamer Daytona and the G&L Tribute S500, so the G&L ASAT Special may be the first to go even though it's a great guitar! I am committed to the Hamer Slammer Series Tele and Korean Daytona. If I could keep them all the ASAT would not be going anywhere! Really tough and I suck at letting guitars go, just wonderful guitars and all the Blue guitars that own! That being said RED GUiTARS (especially wine red) are better IMHO! But for preservation alone here we go! BlueGitars6_zpsyihan50i.jpg

I think I agreed with everything you just said.

I like blue guitars, but when I made my final cut, every single blue guitar I had didn't quite make it.  I've sold 4 blue guitars in the last few days, and have 4 more to go.

But the red guitars are staying (along with a few other colors).

But all Hamers rule except for the Slammer By Hamer guitars and anything that they put out from this point forward if they even sell one! It's over! The new owners blew it if they ever even had a chance!!!

Yeah, I'm sure the one on the right sounds horrible in comparison!

Whoa......Memories from a year ago! I had forgotten about it. Things do change. I actually DID post the Jaros for sale recently. And I am going to get updated pictures of the DGT and offer it up soon. I have to think on pricing a good bit (Private Stock with a lot of custom features) before a final decision.

Not to fear.....My No. 1, "Old Blue," is not going anywhere!

I have wanted one of these FOREVER! and My guitar(Ovation Floklore) got smashed last year, which set me on a quest to find a replacement. I was patient, and then last week THIS showed up in my town.

ITS SPARKLY!!!!!!!!

Love the strat!

I'd love it even more with an ebony fretboard and black input jack, but, well, you can't have everything.

....and I can't have that strat, either, I guess.

I really like blue guitars.

1: Gibson Firebird 2001, with Lollars, RS and Tonepros. Not shure about that colour, too dark and brilliant to be Pelham..

FXiTIwv.jpg?2

2: Squier Classic Vibe w / DiMarzio Evolution and 2 Fender Noiseless Hot. New electronics and trem. Awesome "grab to go" guitar. On the paper Sherwood Green but seems more blue than that.

s2NX8rT.jpg?2

Bacchus Classic Series SG MIJ. Kick Ass guitar with Duncan Vintage P90`s. Pelham blue with nitro top coat. Bet it will age beautifully.

CSbt7SM.jpg?3

Kauer Banshee #77. Klein Scott Holiday winds. Steinberger tuners and Tonepros hardware. Gonna be Gretschified soon with Bigsby and TV Jones Powertrons. Ice Blue Metallic.

1CgXaBt.jpg?1

Partso with Nash neck and MJT body. Real cellulose tortoise pickguard, aged Gotoh hardware and pickups handwound in Russia by Alexander Pribora. Have them in another Strat. Sounds $$! Metallic Ocean Turquoise, but again bluer than I thought Ocean Turquoise would be..
