There's more meat in the top bout and Mike modified the cutaway to provide a clean (straight) line through the neck. This is very exciting.

I’m a huge fan of single cuts but there’s just something about the lines that I wish I could see in person. What you’re describing sounds absolutely perfect to me.

Looks like there's more of an arc on the inside of the lower bout than in the SC design #1.
