It wouldn't be the first time. Hell, it's forty one degrees here in Central Florida. Wind chill is the low thirties. Not a great time to send or receive a guitar anywhere right now.

I've finally gotten over the initial gut punch, but next will be the white knuckle ride of boxing it back up and sending it on another back-and-forth trip.

I'm pretty sure you could drive a truck over it and be OK. The guitar is heavily padded/protected on all sides and extremely snug inside. The latches are strong, solid, and secure. They are heavy AF and expensive but if you're sending one out that you want back in one piece, the peace of mind is worth it (the LP version fits Hamer double-cuts perfectly). Good luck. Jakeboy Posted January 14, 2017 Posted January 14, 2017 FedEx didn't deliver my Newport yesterday as scheduled....now it says "no scheduled delivery date" ...., the incoming ice storm has everyone petrified. Maybe for good reason. Again, I can only imagine your disappointment. Mike will fix it.
