After years of being an unofficial marketing official, Jon Kammerer has asked me to officially become his Marketing Manager.  Still not sure what all it entails, but part of it is being a sales representative here in the DC area, maybe going to guitar shows, maybe direct sales to stores in some of the other area metropolises, like Baltimore, Philly, Richmond.  Dunno. I'm probably going to take him up on the offer, but we'll do it all on a trial basis, making changes until we're both satisfied.

Don't worry, I won't shill his products here.

Congrats, Nathan! Though I have little (none) interest in the brand, I think that's great news! Must be exciting!

That's great! I have no idea what your background is, but feel free to bounce ideas off me if you ever want, or to ask about vendors, systems, all that stuff. I've been in marketing for over 20 years (sigh), lately at VP and Director level, and sometimes have a good idea.

I have no experience in marketing!

But neither does Jon.  I will contact you as I get moving with this, but probably won't be until Spring.

Thanks!

Is this that potato chip guitar?

Nope, it's the whole fucking potato. Or a huge peanut, depending on your perspective.

Although I have no idea who Jon Kammerer is, nor what he does, sounds like it involves the music industry, so congrats on that.  Hope it goes well for all parties.

I could give you a few bullet points, but I promised not to shill.

But yes, he's a Keokuk, Iowa-based guitar maker.

Among other guitars with broadly-disliked headstocks, yes.

Here's a marketing slogan for you:

Jon Kammerer guitars: Hey, they're better-looking than Deans

Seriously, congratulations :D
