elduave Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 I ordered one for the Rock...And A Happy Ricky Bobby To Y'all!
Guest pirateflynn Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Is the body shape different than the Monaco's?
MCChris Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Is the body shape different than the Monaco's?Looks kinda Huber-esque to me.Not my personal cup o' joe but cool nonetheless.
Scooter Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Cool! The Sustain Block is back in a big way!I want one with a Standard headstock?
Craig Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Does it have that Monacoesque block inside the cutout? Reminds me of a Holdsworth Carvin.
stonge Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 the TLE, part deux...just like the Prototype/Phantom reissue, I think I like the new version better. Wow - can't wait to check one of these out. It should kill.
Jeff R Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Just read the spec sheet...two custom singles and a four-way blade selector. Somebody care to explain?
bruce919 Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Fender has a Tele 4 way switch.1. bridge2. bridge & neck in parallel3. neck4. bridge & neck in series.I may have the series / parallel backwards but that the concept.
silentman Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Cool. Seems Jol and co have borrowed ideas from custom orders over the last couple of years and meshed them into a new model.
paults Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Kudos to whomever came up with the name. Its evocative of "telecaster" and it fits right in with Hamer's auto racing theme. Perfect!
MCChris Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Just took another look. I dig the single victory at the 12th fret and dots on the rest of the neck.
cmatthes Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Just when I thought I was completely content with my new Hamer content...I REALLY like that one! The Sustainblock is coming back in a killer way on that model.Very cool indeed.(BTW - my first question when I heard about this model was whether it had a 6-in-line headstock too!)Can't wait to check it out when yours comes in, EL.
serial Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 I did NOT need to see that! I thought I was finished with new guitars!Cream mounting rings and amber knobs too-they GOT it!
elduave Posted December 15, 2006 Author Posted December 15, 2006 Kudos to whomever came up with the name. Its evocative of "telecaster" and it fits right in with Hamer's auto racing theme. Perfect! And, T a L lad E ga!
Travis Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 So, the guitar could easily be set up with some shred-worthy humbuckers.....
BCR Greg Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 Imagine that in Black with gold hardware and three humbuckers.....
