Hbom Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 He got a buyer in 15 minutes, maybe he wasn't real concerned after that.
DLEE Posted August 14, 2013 Author Posted August 14, 2013 He got a buyer in 15 minutes, maybe he wasn't real concerned after that. Oh, I was concerned. I just wasn't going to sit at the computer and wait for every PM of which there were many. A 4 digit gets a lot of attention, and a lot of tire kickers. True it was basically sold after 15 minutes,I waited until the loose ends were tied before announcing it gone. I had everyone listed in order of contact in case the deal fell through. Same way I handle CL deals. I won't sell at a higher offered price to the 5th reply until I deal with the 4 before you. There's enough bullsh*t in this world already,I'm not dishing any out to anyone for a few more bucks.

Disturber Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Congrats to the new owner. Killer looking Standard. If you are thinking of finding original metric knobs for it, with the beweled numbers etc, those can be found on Amazon, here:http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004JNTF1E/ref=pe_175190_21431760_M2C_SC_3p_dp_1

I emailed Dave first and said I'd come by. I came by. I gave him the cash. Others jumped in with some talk, before I was physically over there I guess, but we both did what we said we'd do. This is how stuff should work.

Great "LUST PUPPY" factory graphic circa '85. Ony Hamer I know of that actually has the owner's name on the headstock MUCH LARGER than the Hamer logo....reads "DAVE LEE by Hamer USA" Always good to have another fellow bass player here
Hamerica Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 ^^^^^ That bass is sick! Never seen that one before MC2 thanks for the post!Hamerica

DLEE Posted August 17, 2013 Author Posted August 17, 2013 Glad you're a happy man! Royce & I are glad to know it's gone to someone who will truly appreciate it.It was a pleasure doing business with a straight up guy.We can all laugh now about the craziness Noah went through Wednesday! He & Chris were cool about everything. Bambino68 is someone I highly recommend if you have the opportunity to deal with. I would've loved to seen your face when you popped her open, she is a beauty. Great guy and a great guitar. It doesn't get better than that!!!!!
