Figure you might like this... I video'd this just after receiving. I had to wait a bit longer for mine, but damn worth it. I love Mike!

I've an opening of box video as well, may add later. Need to do a 'plugged' as well. Hadn't done a video for some time, so I goofed on some settings. Sorry. Enjoy!

Wow! Sounds great unplugged and backwards!

Whoah! Some neat surprises in there!

I'll watch it in a mirror later on tonight...

;)

Thank you everyone. I deserve the raz' on the horizontal flip. Didn't know wtf I was doing. Lol!

Well worth the extra wait getting this. :D Mike is king!

Great to watch! Cool idea with the middle pickup.

Very cool! Yes, some surprises there. Mine seems so straightforward by comparison :)

So cool to see this one finally make its appearance! That burst and overall look really stands out and demands that your eyes tune in - love it!!

By the way, that's an Alnico 5/2 in the middle position, done up late-50s F style with a bit more hair on it. We were shooting for a milky lactoid cover, but I couldn't find one that matched and the slight color difference made it look kinda goofy so I went with black. When I find the 'right' color that matches with the rest, I'll send it asap.

Rock it up!

Perfectamundo!

Thought it was going to go a little "Count Floyd" there at the start!

Will it ever get plugged in or is this a Spinal Tap episode?

Sorry, couldn't resist :)

No kidding: the first Ultimate in the Registry to nearly require two lines to describe all of the options...

Diva! :P:lol:

Hamerhead, I'm in Illinois.

Hertzsogud, the single is splendid. It definitely exudes single coil seasoning, and clears things up nicely when you want to. Though, only drove it through a smaller amp so far.

Mrjamiam, I didn't get the 24 frets I would have liked. Then again, that would have been a tight squeeze with 3 pups. Steve sparked my 'single' concept. I suppose a spin on his, and the fact I appreciate the versatility. It's actually a pretty simple ckt.

Humfree, I see the similarity now. Lol! I did get to trial it through a smaller Peavey amp yesterday with nice result.

Velorush, but I don't see a mention of the 'MASSIVE' neck. It is WIDE, and THICK! Practically, a bat. ;) I'm kind of a tall guy. Based it off this ridiculous old Dean V I have (no vee profile).

Didn't catch that in the video (there were a few other details...). Updated. I plan on measuring mine soon. It is easily the largest neck in the house and my Strat is an inch thick nut to body. I can't imagine what this thing measures.

Velorush, I failed to mention the massive neck in the video. On a dial caliper, I measure... 1.78" nut width, .98" thick (fingerboard face to back of neck) at first, similar at 12th. Flatter 20" fret board radius.

Well that explains the backwards. Australians are upside-down.

Here is the first actual vid' I did, opening the box, peanuts, etc. You can see the case, and talk of neck profile, tuning, etc. It captures my initial response when opening the case for the first time. I think we all experience that momentary 'speachless' feeling when seeing these for the first time in person! Ignore the post nasal snorts.
