$1,250 used, perhaps. New Heritages have really increased in price recently.

New Yes, but check around, there are plenty beautiful ones on the used market.

Their NAMM '17 showing says the new owners are trying to fix the headstock.

Except the headstock is exactly the same as it's always been.  No style inlay can make it less hideous.

So, won't this cause confusion with Harmony guitars?  ;)   I can't see anybody confusing Heritage with Huber or Hamer, even with that logo.

The headstock never bothered me, but I think it would look better if it wasn't as long.

I have always considered the headstock on The Heritage guitars as both aesthetically pleasing and as a functional design.

Of course what really matters is that I like the way the guitars sound and play.

Wait... That really happened?

I guess without the pictures it doesn't make much sense. Well it doesn't make much sense anyway but what he did was remove the cover, place it upside down on a counter, fill it full of melted Sex Wax, and then squished the pickup down in the goo. Wiped the excess off the outside. Reinsert the screws and no more tone.

I actually don't mind that, aside from the ambiguity some mentioned.

Improving the Heritage headstock is so damned simple.  All they'd  have to do is shorten it a little bit and then make it a little bit wider.  It still wouldn't be my fav, but it would look a lot better.

I'd actually love to see the company stay healthy.  It's a good story, and there's a community out there that really digs these guitars.  So why not?  Looking back, the 157 I had had some issues, but eh 150 GT I owned was a pretty great playing and sounding guitar.  Hopefully new ownership will get the shop organized and improve customer service.  When you lose Alex Skolnick, the one guy who is openly gushing about your guitars who anyone might have heard of, because you can't get around filling his orders, jeez.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss...

I've never hated the HS, but I've never really liked it either. As with some others here, I would like to see 1-1/2" whacked off the top. I've heard their quality bashed on here before... That very well could be, but I've never seen it myself. I still have a korina 137, and its an awesome guitar all the way around.

I think it is a classy look. Esthetically pleasing but what about the quality?

The original ad doesn't mention weight.  You always have to ask, when it's a Heritage.  Nine pounds is my limit.  Hard to find one lighter that's not chambered.

Seems, we are amidst an early Drive By Truckers-scenery around their 2005 Gangstabilly-Album?

Well if your doing this to a Hamer or Shishkov or any other prized guitar, yeah it's just wrong, it's just so fuck#¢g wrong! A Heritage guitar on the other hand well that's to be debated but as the star/director/producer of the video is a card carrying member of team Heritage then I guess it's just right for the brand!
