veatch Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Pure rawk. Well done, sir, and well done, Mike! Now, how does it sound?

Acoustically Amazing, i'm working on the pickups now. Middle Position is stellar and I have yet to have any complains about Josh's neck pickups, they just rock. Just getting the bridge adjusted to make sure we have max balls, with chime on the top end and great string separation. Its coming together, but its passed the kiddo's bedtime and I was veto's to let them stay up on NGD. LOL
BadgerDave Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 That is stunning! Hoping we'll be seeing it on the 24th.
bubs_42 Posted February 2, 2018 Author Posted February 2, 2018 I'm working on being there. Nothing in the way at the moment.
The Shark Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 I'm so happy to have been a minor part in this "deal". Shawn so deserves this killer guitar. I thank him for keeping me in the loop. Have fun this weekend, my friend.
hamerhead Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Nice. I mean really nice. That is a well-thought-out guitar. A jaw dropper. Congrats, Shawn. Wow! ETA: I sadly realize now that I can't give Shawn so much crap anymore. He and Mike absolutely nailed every part of this thing.
specialk Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Now THAT is a guitar! Congrats all around. Damn.
ArnieZ Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Beautiful guitar!! With the bound F hole and and angle of some of the pics looks a little like a Languedoc Enjoy, Enjoy Enjoy!!! ArnieZ
TobiTill Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Simply beautiful. 8 hours ago, soli'd said: I really like how the TRC and muse tip are also spruce. Ties the headstock in with the top. Sick guitar dude. Can't wait to hear how she sounds. That caught my eye as well. And an F-hole stamp/signature just does it for me. Have a great weekend with it. Regards, Tobias
BubbaVO Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 That is awesome. Really tasteful. Don't sell it ... ever.
BTMN Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Nice work as always! Great ideas brought to life.
bubs_42 Posted February 2, 2018 Author Posted February 2, 2018 Kudos to Josh but we are not done yet. How do you design a pickup for a guitar that does not exist. So now that it is hear I think another journey will begin to bring it to yet another level of awesomeness!

MCChris Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Knocked it out of the park with this one. Outstanding!

Northfield Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Because you can never have too many pics of a badass guitar, and I know some of you aren’t on FB:
specialk Posted February 2, 2018 Posted February 2, 2018 Gorgeous! And I don't use that word lightly.
bubs_42 Posted February 2, 2018 Author Posted February 2, 2018 I'm working late tonight, so thanks for the pictures! I plan on firing this up asap tonight through my 3 monkeys Sock Monkey 18!

bubs_42 Posted February 3, 2018 Author Posted February 3, 2018 If the guitar wasn't enough, I decided to open the accessory compartment last night and WOW look what I found. I have already started wearing out the first pic. Love the color choices and the feel of glow in the dark pics. Them there are working man hands. One more thing, some tweaking an adjusting of the pickups and Josh's Pups have really come to life. If you guys want that P90 tone in a humbucker size don't hesitate.
