Am I missing something or is the guitar precariously perched vertically with the top of the case resting on the floor?  Looks like a disaster ready to happen.

Yes, it is inviting disaster.  If the owner accidentally dinged this doubleneck, he would probably have to drop the price down to $24,900.  I find it troubling enough when people pose their guitars next to a swimming pool.

Yeah, it makes me not want to subsidize their lifestyle by buying their guitar.  So I don't.

The same seller has a 1997 korina standard for $15k, and a korina moderne for $10k.  Is this what guys do when their wives insist they sell some stuff, but they don't actually want to sell it?  "Look, honey; I've got them up for sale!"

If they really needed the money quick, y'know, because of a D-I-V-O-R-C-E or their bank went belly up, then they might ask for considerably less.  Or, you may just have to wait a little longer and see what happens...who knows?

Now THAT'S how you sell a guitar, one pic and a one word description. I do remember the double neck from years back, I think it was listed on CL for ever.

It's hard to take anyone asking 5 figures seriously they don't know the difference between a Moderne and Futura. Or how to spell.

I suspect the seller has no idea what it is worth, so ask high and see what offers you get...

That would have to be a pretty dumb woman. Especially after the guitar sat there on sale for months. Luckily my woman don't care what I spend my money on. She has her own.

Not intended to be a slight against a partner/wife.   I was just agreeing that some guys would try and pull that move.  Personally, not me.  If I’m selling, I’m selling.   And when I’m buying, it’s always a conversation.    She typically doesn’t care but just wants to be looped in.

I suppose I'm trying to find sense where none can be found. The prices, and the lack of effort in promoting the items, appear to be incompatible with each other.

As an FYI, this guitar is now for sale at The Music Gallery in Highland Park, IL for a reasonable $13K.
