Looks like someone kicked the bucket and his herd is going to market.

There'd be a lot fewer of them if we could take them with us!

There was a black 1982 Standard (looks like it’s gone now).
It had a pick guard and no binding which didn’t look quite right to me. Wonder if the pick guard was added later 🤷‍♂️

I thought the same thing.

The San Francisco store has some great Hamer guitars for someone with deep pockets!

IF anybody here buys from that GC store, beware of their ability (or more importantly, inability) to pack for safe shipping...

Anyone know the story on the "MYS"?

That's a new one to me.  A MYStery, if you will. 😁

I think only a hand full of those were made. I forget an endorser in the late 80's early 90's. Get "the book" I believe its in there.

Wow, the elusive 7-string Maestro!  $4000 seems like a good deal for that one.  GC claims "Great" condition.  (Nobody claimed "Great" for the photo quality... ever.)

I assure you, the former owner is very much alive and a member here.

According to The Book, four of the custom designs were built for Billy Idol guitarist Mark Younger Smith. I'm not certain if any others were ever made. The context and mash up of design elements remind me of the customs built for Steve Brown of Trixter.

Why not just list them here and cut out the middle man?
