RobB Posted July 21 Posted July 21 (edited) Jay is awesome. I’ve never met him in person, but our worlds collided in many ways in California. He used to work the door at The Strand in Redondo Beach. We went to the same rock and metal clubs in Hollywood. He lived around the corner from me in the Berkeley Hills when he was going to school in the Bay Area. Though we never met face-to-face, I’m 99.9% sure that we interacted at some point (our HFC IMs seemed to bear this out…). I hope his journey to Valhalla is an easy one. Rest in power, Jay. I really hate to see it when ANYone from the HFC is having health issues or passes. I played for about 40 years (up until my strokes in 2024) and I had joined several guitar forums over the years but this is the only one I actively participated in, ever. The quality of the people here is unparalleled. May Ed rock on in a better place. Quote
