velorush Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 I've been sworn to secrecy and promised not to divulge any details. Enjoy the photo. Oh, now we see the violence inherent in the system! Now we see the violence inherent in the system! Help! Help! I'm being repressed!

Sugartune Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Come on Canadian dollar, stop being so stupidly weak! Need me an 8 coil guitar.
Tortious Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 I am sort of curious as to why you would use nice flamey maple on prototypes. You gonna be doing it all Leo Fender-style, putting prototypes in the hands of some players then making design changes based in part on response, or is it just because you can? I probably should keep my curiosity to myself. I've always felt that this style of headstock was never properly exploited: Really enjoying watching the process. Thanks for showing it.
ptm1diver Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 I've been sworn to secrecy and promised not to divulge any details. Enjoy the photo. Why are you showing a picture of me custom pickups? Screwing with the HFCers?
ptm1diver Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Oh my gosh!!!!The headstock could be a West Virginia cousin to the Heritage headstock.
django49 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 ^^^^But it would have to be longer to make space for the Shishkov logo!
cmatthes Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 That's HAMER'S version of the Dan Armstrong headstock. That won't be the Shishkov style. Mike is doing original deigns here. Boomerang~Junkie Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Oh my, it looks like I'll probably be trying to figure out how to buy some pickups too . . . . .
scottcald Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Or, maybe nice raffle prizes for those of us who didn't get in on the Ultimate initial run.
cmatthes Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 There will be more than enough opportunities to place an order going forward. It's not like the run of Ultimates will be the end.
JohnnyB Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 As an English Major, I am rarely at a loss for descriptive words. I can't think of any in my bag of tricks that adequately describe how cool I think these are!Wowee!!!
cmatthes Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Keep the crap off of this board please. If you have something positive to add, feel free.Posts deleted.
The Shark Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 How anyone could find a scintilla of negative energy in what Mike is doing is beyond me. Get out.And I don't even know what was said!
burningyen Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 Seriously.Anyway, looks like awesome stuff is around the corner. I've never been a Standard guy, so this is exciting news!
Biz Prof Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 These Shishkov reveals never get old. To me, it's like the ('70s-era) childhood thrill of buying a couple of packs of baseball cards with a buddy and then opening them to see what you scored.
