Obviously a custom order - was it production numbered by mistake? Near the end of four-digits - possibly they were in the process of abandoning the separate numbers? Or it was a cancelled order and they just finished it off as part of normal run? Is the concensus that it is legit? Just my thoughts.

With this kind of guitar, whatever you pay for it, comes the joy of owning a beautiful piece of history, possibly one of a kind. And if you do not buy it ( given that you have funds for it), your money will be gone and you won't even know where to. And there is a bonus - there is always that one guy whos bid was right under yours, so there is always a chance for you to recover your funds.

Now I have to prepare its arrival. I need to find a set of black top-hat Gibson knobs I have somewhere around. I don't like those dices too much. Also, I already mentioned the Schlabotniks. I had them temporarily installed on a Hoyer. They sounded great but didn't match the guitar's finish. So, they might end up on this one. Yes, I'm excited!
