I have played my share of guitars and I think it is true about the "Ones that get played" being the best but this guitar rocks out of the box. I'm not a fan of the straight grain but it suits the finish very well and the Flame Actually Moves when you move the guitar. The first thing my wife said was "That top has good depth". The back of the guitar is amazing, the finish is perfect Shishkov Guitars NAILED MY COLOR. I am one picky bastard when it comes to pickups but The Gravlin Pickups are the shit! No matter how clean or how distorted that Neck Pick Tone remains intact, middle is to die for and the bridge is punchy but Pure PAF. If anyone needs a set of pups for their Newport, Superpro, Monaco, Duotone or Tally look no further. I'm working on pictures but the day went grey and overcast and like its owner my house is not the brightest.

With bette light tomorrow I take as shot in the sun and take a shot of the back it just a stunning. I really wish I could figure out how to show the movement in the top you would think it wouldn't have much but it does.

I felt the same way about the 4 digit as I did about the 78 Sunburst. They were fantastic, but if I would have ordered them new they would have been...... Well #0020. I got my favorite color of all time and my first New GUITAR!!!

The maple is just right, the burst artfully applied, and I know the fretwork and setup will be immaculate. If it plays half as nice as it looks that's a winner.SWEET!
