cmatthes Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 And it is...Spectacular! Somebody in the greater Chicago area may have to see a doctor if that smile lasts for more than 4 days. One thing I really love about these is how different they can appear under different light sources. Just fantastic work...
veatch Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Great. Now I got the "Green Eyed Lady" earwig going on... Gorgeous guitar.
soli'd Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I freaking love the Ultimate headstock shape in reverse.
kizanski Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I've said it before and I'll say it again: Every one of these that I've seen is the nicest one I've ever seen. Love the reverse headstock!
HSB0531 Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Ok NOW I have a favorite. That's just way off the charts.
The Shark Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 I'm going to say it again. Going on sixty times. Fantastic!
gorch Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Wow! That's how a CMatthes green should look like. Somehow it hasn't come far from the original (Ultimate). Does it have the same body shape? Does the reverse heastock make any sound difference? Does it have a different SN schema? Questions over questions... Congratulations! It's a true addition to the green Standard Custom.

DBraz Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 No 48? Wow. Lovely touches on that one. Multi ply binding, exotic colour... Classy and classic. Congrats to the nee owner!
RobB Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 This one is almost too beautiful to play. "Almost..." Here's hoping he dings it up mightily offa a ride cymbal at rehearsal. After the first dent, wellllll, meh.

cynic Posted September 3, 2016 Posted September 3, 2016 Aside from inlays, it's actually pretty loaded. The appointments are just very subtle.
