I no longer own this but it was one of the coolest I've seen. Believe it's a UPC code. I miss the good ole daze of Daddy's Junky Music where you could walk in a see one of these hanging on the wall... mispriced.8 points

FYI: I needed some boxes and recently found the equivalent of the small uline boxes on amazon 5 for $43 delivered if you buy a 5 pack on uline I think it's $55 plus shipping ($25 ish) vs $43. These boxes are nice as they're smaller (18 x 6 x 45) which results in a cheaper UPS charge. Probably best for Fender style guitars. If you're shipping say a Gibson Historic, might want to use a bigger box. Also, Shippo has been great (they're like pirateship etc) They're self insured and from what I hear, less weasely than dealing with UPS declared value claims. They're also great for shipping small items (pickups, parts etc) where you can send USPS ground with tracking. I tend not to insure small items under $100 but use your own judgement.3 points

Cool sale if you're looking for 'Trons. $105 - $110 a pickup (about 35% off)!2 points

It's just a paint job, nothing more. They might be relevant if someone has a Noo Wave revival band and/or a closet full of Zubaz.2 points

I still have my Keeley Dark Side pedal. I break it out every once in a while (with a Strat). Lots of sounds to be had, but I prefer the Warm Audio Jet Phaser with a delay to get all 3 sounds at once.2 points

Hi Folks, After beating my head against the wall trying to fix a known migration bug effecting attachments in IPS for more than 20 hours. I decided to cut my losses, purchased, installed Xenforo and migrated all of our current data to it. It took a while but its been a SUCCESS and attachments work in the new forum! I'm in the process of validating the content and configuration with the help of Chris Matthes and Kiz. Once that is complete, I will open it up to everyone in parallel to the current board for further testing. Once we confirm its all good hopefully a few days. I will reimport the data from the current forum and swtich us over to the new one. All your ids and log in information and groups (supporter) should work in the new forum. Thanks all for the patience. Its been a journey but I can see the end in sight!1 point

I have a Tone Hatch Shin Kicker bridge pickup for sale. Wound to Broadcaster/Nocaster spec. 10k+. A3 mags. 43 AWG. S/CW. A touch more mids, but not muddy. It sounds like a Tele bridge pickup. $35 PPed & shipped CONUS. Pics by request.1 point

An artwork element to the paintjob for sure, and some rarity. I think a few pros had played them?, which always helps a whole lot. I have a Gibson 'designer series' Explorer bass in a black and white stripe graphic, I think it's super cool, so very '80s, - which were largely my formative years for music and pop culture1 point

That's a great-looking graphic, with the kind of wear you'd expect to see, but it looks a lot less faded/yellowed than a lot of them. Most of the hardware has been changed - tuners, pickups, knobs - but it looks like it still sports the long switch tip, if you've been looking for one. I agree that the price seems unconnected to current reality, but I looked for quite a while for mine and had to pay over the odds as compared to a non-graphic Special of similar vintage. If the selling prices get anywhere near that, I might persuade myself to let mine go.1 point

Thatās not true. I have Graphic Special, and it rips. I donāt care how pretty the wood is under the finish.1 point

Haha, I thought about doing the same thing as you just did! But, with crazy shipping prices lately I didn't know if it would be worth it. So you've inspired me to give it a try... I have 15 new, sealed in plastic ink jet cartridges for a Canon printer. Specifically bought for one of these; Pixma mg5420/mg6320/ip7220/mx922, but could possibly be used for others? Anyway, these are not Canon brand but bought off Amazon and always worked great for the years we had that printer. I have 3 each of c251xl yellow, cyan, magenta and black regular single wides. Plus, 3 of the double wide c250xl black. So, I'm sure it's a long shot but if anyone can use them let me know, pay the shipping (maybe around $10) and get a ton of printing. Otherwise, someone at Goodwill will get them.1 point

When did Brett Kingman get the new digs? I haven't watched him in a long time, but it used to be him in his living room, sometimes with his little girl introducing the videos. This is quite a studio! Great sounding pedal. Thanks for posting.1 point

I don't need a bridge pickup right now, but came in to mention that I've had great results from Tone Hatch pickups. I put a pair of Duo-Sonics into my daughter's guitar and it was night-and-day difference from stock (for the better).1 point

The coolest part? They all look like they're having so much fun onstage. She has really brought a spark to the boys. It's great to see.1 point

Your finish will be affected. There will have to be wood inlaid/overlayed to close the area that was routed for weight relief. You will pay for that and a refinish. If you love the neck, just have it popped out have a new body made. It will require the same refinish, but possibly require less hours of work.1 point

I went to see Triumph a few weeks ago, with April Wine opening. I think the tour may be over now, the last shows were in Boston (at least that is what it says on my concert shirt). April Wine without Myles Goodwyn (RIP), was basically the band that had been touring with Myles, but with an officially endorsed new front man. It's not the same without Myles, but they got the crowd warmed up and singing along. As for Triumph, they are/were a trio. The bassist, Mike, couldn't make it and they added two guys from The Conspirators, they are a great add. The additional drummer let Gil get out front and sing a few tunes, also synching two kits made a bonus add. As for Phil X, he replaced Rik way back when he left the band and filled in the high notes, as did Todd Kerns. The night I went, Phil X could not make it and Rik called up Derek Sharp (correction to who I thought was Steve Morse - aplogies). I am obviously a fan. The stands were full of us old guys n gals having a great time. We had good seats, about $270 total for both. Considering concert prices these days, not bad. Obviously more than my 1982 $18 stub.1 point

A. Reach out to Jim, ask nicely for advice and or referral. B. Take it to your local amp tech with some rep that will do you right. No need to mingle in there when there's ppl out there trying to make an honest living doing what you need to accomplish. Shit breaks down. Get it fix and enjoy. Life's too short.1 point
