belikerick Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 We had a record breaking high temp today in Denver and I just couldn't resist rolling down the windows and turning it up full blast! I'm still amazed at how great this record is, I never get tired of it. Another go-to, Rite of Summer album is Candy-o

Jakeboy Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 I took a different twist....record-breaking highs in Missouri too so I cranked my 1980'Checkerboard Special with vintage BL L500s through first a dimed Marshall Bluesbreaker and then a dimed brown Deluxe clone with an EV SRO alnico.....such tone! Love it.
Disturber Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 I blasted some 90's Swedish industrial rock in the car today. Peace love and pitbulls - they were a huge influence on Marilyn Manson back then, Trent Reznor listened in as well and picked up influences. They were ahead of their time. Great, great band.
Feynman Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 You guys are old!Edited to add that Disturber's choice is cool. New band to me - I dig it.
Disturber Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 I needed something to clear the mind today. It's a great band. You can probably check them out on Spotify.
Turdus Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 http://www.allmusic....-fi-way-r233509 Geat minds think alike. Same band, different album for me today. and I am deeply indebted to Chris for kicking me in the seat of the pants on these guys.
Jack C Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Friday's warm weather had me cranking Rules by Supagroup. Great summertime party music.
Willie G. Moseley Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Hawkwind--Live Legends DVD dub to CD (1990 Nottingham concert). Space Ritual is still the ultimate, however. It was 85 degrees here this afternoon.
alantig Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Electric Mary. Saw these guys at Experience PRS a couple years ago and they tore it up. Unfortunately, other than downloads, everything's an import here. But worth checking out. Alan
maxschrek Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 First, I cranked my Rickenbacker 4003 through my Hiwatt stack...then, after the mail ran, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the new Field Music cd "Plumb" that i ordered had arrived, so then I cranked that. Very good day!T
