He developed a relationship with the Jazz Master when he was sequestered at Synanon to kick heroin. The facility had a single guitar, a Jazz Master. Second thought, what's with the pickguard/bound top? DeanV with an added guard? Resprayed Ibby V with binding? Did Gison have their Heritage V reissues in the late 70s?

It doesn't look like a Dean V to me. Looks more like a Gibby, but the input jack is at the "wrong" place -inner side of the lower wing.
