I needed a powerful quiet small stage fan for an outdoor gig. Looked around and my son had a fan he'd been using in his bedroom to help him sleep. Very powerful really quiet! So I order the non pedestal version from Amazon. Not cheap, but it is well built. It worked fantastic. It creates a tunnel of moving air. It saved the day for me in this Florida heat and humidity. So for those that are tired of fan noise on stage this actually works. Obviously louder as speed was increased, I found the 2nd speed to be ample and that is barely audible. No leakage into amps or out board like other fans. You nailed GC! I bought two of PAFs guitars from GC. The Mark YOUNGER-SMITH arrived in a Hamer Rectangle case with a Registration SN card. I reached out about getting the correct case, and they never replied. About two weeks later, I purchased the TLE Elite from the Book, Bound w Boomers and it arrived in a Shaped Case with MYS in Sharpie on the Case. In the end, luckily, I received the correct case for each guitar.

Either using only one ear bud, In this case I only put my guitar and vocal and nothing else in my ears so I have extra of that, and one ear open to everything on stage- this works best if I’m singing a lot. or adding ambience mics and only routing them to in-ears; many bands I work with add two mics placed at the edge of the stage pointed at the crowd (2x sm57 or cheap mic on low stand, knee height) and only route to in-ears (not FOH). You can also use just one, of any type of mic- it’s just for your comfort, not the house mix or out front. This gives you a controllable amount of “live room” in your mix to counteract isolation. oh nice, I've always felt that all the aggravation and whatnot, you can absolutely pull some below market gems out of there... you make your own luck. if the don't send the right case, call, they'll at least try to look for it.

Although I shouldn't, I have returned to looking at (for) guitars on Reverb. Some of the listings announce that the offering is in someone else's cart already, but days later it's the same thing. One of them was in a cart for days, and when I checked just now it's in two more carts. What is meant to be achieved by this? It doesn't seem that someone was shopping, meant to make a purchase and then saw a squirrel. I'm thinking it's a signal or a strategy of some kind. Can anyone enlighten poor simple me, whose process is "see guitar, like guitar, buy guitar"? I'm not much into gaming systems, although I know that it happens.

Something New To Let You Know About Dear Friends, Fans, Families, and people I’ve not met yet, I’m announcing today somewhat sadly but nonetheless truthfully, that I’ve reached a place where publicly more and more I need to use a wheelchair, mostly in airports, or public events. I can still walk, let there be no doubt, but I can’t walk very far without needing to rest, meaning I need to sit down. We started using the wheelchair about 18 months ago, mostly in airports. I became 78 years old on May 5th 2026. I was a long distance walker, I’ve walked in many different parts of the world, and I’m still a drummer. I can still play pretty good for 78 years old. My talents and ambitions, and my unyielding need to be artful, and to play drums, is still as strong as it was so many years ago now. I’m just saying if you see me in a wheelchair, I’m just catching a ride, I’m not in retirement or ill or giving up, or any of those thoughts that ignite when we see people in wheelchairs. I’m making myself public and transparent about my new transport, and letting you know I’m OK. If you see me in the airports or visiting friends in the music arenas or theatres say hi, I don’t bite, I’ll just look different, as pictured here. ... but i do like the handles, though I'm guessing they'd not be comfortable for gig toting. Not that I would envision this cab being anywhere than in a man-cave (not calling that a bad thing... I have one of those, after all...)

I've got two of those in my house. My wife hates fan noise but is just fine with these.

I wondered if maybe it was trolling for the seller to offer a price break if it sat there in a cart and yet wasn't purchased. Or maybe something that I can't even think of.

Thanks for sharing, beautiful speaker and It was a nice watch, but I didn't like the 1/2" speaker baffle board as opposed to a 3/4" and the "floating" space balls... I would think with enough vibration and time those things would deteriorate and cause rattling 🤔

Speaking of 'cramming', is there any way of having IEMs that don't feel/sound like you have your fingers stuck in your ears? My prior band used them and I couldn't get past that. It was a good system (Aviom, with individual mixers) but felt terribly disconnected and isolating, with zero 'live' feel. I bailed on it without doing enough experimenting.
