The search for a couple of specific Hamers continues, but I was shanghaied last week by the one-two punch of the Sweetwater app and their ridiculous sale and find myself low on funds... 

I did pick up some cool kit, but Hamers will have to wait.

Two in 2025, to my surprise...wasn't palnned at all.

A 1978 Sunburst and a 1980 Special, both in very good condition (the Sunburst had changed tuners at some point). They are the oldest guitars I have now. Everything Fender form the 1960s long gone and I don't think I will ever be able to afford one buying again (love the 1960s Jaguars with matching headstocks).

This is why I don't buy guitars in the winter... Especially from the east coast...

Picked up a 96 Mirage II a few months back at a decent price. Thinking about putting an old set of PRS McCarty pickups in it with the coil split.

No Hamers acquired in 2025. 

In fact, I haven't bought a guitar since October, 2024 (2019 Gibson SG Junior). 

Instead, in 2025 I spent money on other exciting things like a sewer line repair, the deductibles on a new roof and my daughter's dental work, car repairs (it turns out catalytic converter replacement is expensive), tires...and of course the University of North Texas got a big chunk. Fun! 😆

My Hamer count remains 21.
