It looks gorgeous, rings like a bell, has a fat neck, and the pickups really impress me. It even smells good too. Got it home, fired up the 5153 at nice LOUD volume, and put it thru it's paces. Wow, this thing is a rock and roll machine. The pups are really percussive and responsive to your picking styles.I will try to get some better pics when I have more light. I do have to say that the color of the guitar and the case go together as an unintended bonus.Thanks to Mike for making a lefty and thanks to Chris for posting the pic of the Tiger Eye finish that I ended up going with. There will be a future purchase of a lefty V if Mike will make me one.

hrtatak Posted August 7, 2015 Author Posted August 7, 2015 Thanks guys. This thing is a monster. I am going to Hawaii for a couple of weeks so I won't get to play it much before leaving. I guess this gives me a reason to come back to Illinois.
