serial Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 I'll be toasting to Bil and John on New Years Eve. I'm sure I won't be the only one. Let's hope that 2007 will be a better year for all of us and for the HFC as a whole. We've got a great community here with tons of amazing people. Lots of love and Happy New Year to all.
phoenix Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 We should all be so fortunate to be written about in such a way when our time comes.EXACTLY!!!!P.S. Sarah. Bil's is one if the first people who flipped over my hot sauce. His feedback, in his hyper-errudite way, was a BIG part of me having the sand to enter an international contest and come in third as the only amateur. He deservedly comes to mind whenever a bottle is used. You had 14+ years with a gent who effected positive results in others' lives with little effort. I have a feeling that he will live on in many forms.
Jem Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 Now that's a shit thing to hear, always a funny guy both here and on other boards - my thoughts to his family.Jem

black magic Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Holy Cow!! I just found this. This sucks big time. Although I have never met Bill, I have known him on the board for years, and I sold him a cool Hamer Blitz with the optional Stabdard headstock years ago and couldn`t have sold it to a cooler guy. I am so sorry to hear this, I will surely miss him. Jack.

DaveH Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 It's hard to believe it's been that long since I've heard the phrase "I think I smell bologna fryin'...". WB was a genuinely nice, personable guy. Miss his annual Halloween "Dressed To Clown" posts too. Remember those?
